Dr. Olivia Franks, ND

Dr. Franks received her Doctorate in Natural Medicine (N.D.) from Bastyr University. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Franks completed her bachelor of science in life sciences biology at University of Guelph in Ontario.
Prior to entering clinical practice at Tahoma Clinic, Dr. Franks served as consulting physician at Meridian Valley Laboratory. In this capacity, she became expert in the complex chemistry of natural human steroids (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, and many others) enabling her to provide interpretation of urinary hormone steroid profiles to physicians new to bio-identical hormone replacement.
With her medical practice at Tahoma Clinic focusing largely on women’s health issues, Dr. Franks pursued certification in digital breast Thermography, a non-invasive, radiation-free breast health screening technique. Currently, Dr. Franks is one of the few Northwest physicians certified by IACT to perform this highly advanced digital form of Thermography. Dr. Franks has developed programs to help women improve breast health, prevent breast cancer and recurrence. She also enjoys working with digestive issues, autoimmune, adrenal and other endocrine issues as well as children’s health. She works closely with Dr. Jonathan Wright, Medical Director, and with the other doctors of Tahoma Clinic.
Dr. Franks writes about her practice at Tahoma Clinic:
“It brings me joy to help others avoid disease through preventive natural medicine as well as to restore health in those who are already struggling with disease.
It is my honor to educate and guide others toward their optimal health.
It’s wonderful to be working with such a well-educated and forward-thinking team of physicians”.
