We are seeking participants for our Bursitis Study

Kristi Tompkins, N.D.

Dr. Tompkins is a board certified, licensed Naturopathic Physician practicing at Tahoma Clinic in Renton, WA. She earned her doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University .

Dr. Tompkins believes in treating each patient individually and will design a tailored treatment plan accordingly. She is a teacher that values prevention, education, laughter and patient accountability and motivates people to make lifestyle changes in support of their own personal health. Trusting in the inherent wisdom and resiliency of the body, Dr. Tompkins believes that with perseverance and patience, amazing healing transpires. 

Inspired by the nourishment and vitality of food, Dr. Tompkins earned her BS in Nutrition prior to pursuing her doctorate. Developing a love for cooking as a child, she is now passionate about natural, whole foods and the bountiful nutrients within. Dr. Tompkins understands the important connection between how food affects the physical body as well as one's mood. As a Naturopathic Practitioner, she is committed to integrating nutrition, the foundation of health, with her patients.

Dr. Tompkins practices general medicine with an emphasis on bio-identical hormone therapy for women and men, adrenal fatigue and stress management, thyroid imbalances, digestive conditions, allergies, sleeping disorders, and clinical nutrition.

Originally a native of sunny and warm California , Dr. Tompkins fell in love with the lush, evergreen beauty of the Pacific Northwest . In her personal time, she enjoys a variety of exercise activities, attending and hosting dinner parties, spending quality time with friends, family and her cat, and savoring dark chocolate anytime she can.
